We got up early one morning and went out to see what we could see.

Amazingly, these "baby" lions were just waking up on a hillock by the side of the road.

We watched for a while as they woke up and started playing. Eventually they trotted off a little way into the grass, where we couldn't see them anymore.

We needed to get back to camp and finish packing up, so we started to drive away, and one of these cubs playfully chased our truck!
