This blog belongs to Phil Price. Most posts will relate to the natural world (especially birds) in or around the San Francisco Bay Area, but I may range fairly far afield at times.

Phil,
I have seen this unusual looking bird feeding outside of my office window in the financial district of San Francisco. Several employees have spotted it in the past. Today was the first day I managed to snap a photo of it without it running away. We are really curious as to what it is as it seems so unusual. I have attempted to upload a picture in hope that you can view it and give us your opinion.
